Cidesco to introduce International Beauty Day

Saturday, September 9 is International Beauty Day, thanks to Cidesco. The global beauty and spa therapy standard devised the initiative to raise awareness for the importance of the beauty industry around the world.

The organisation will drive the day on social media and is asking its members and the general public to use the hashtag #InternationalBeautyDay to share their own definitions of beauty, through words, images and video content in order to gain an insight into how beauty is understood and interpreted across the globe.

Cidesco is also encouraging members and accredited schools to get involved by offering treatments to those in need, putting on special offers and hosting introductory talks about the Cidesco diplomas and courses they offer.    

Cidesco international president Anna-Cari Gund commented: “The beauty industry is extremely valuable as it helps people across the world look and feel good, inside and out. International Beauty Day is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate how Cidesco has affected the lives of our schools, students and members worldwide.”
