Galgorm Resort & Spa to invest £10 million into Spa Village

Galgorm Resort & Spa has announced plans for a £10million development into 48 luxury hotel rooms and unique Spa Village. Financially assisted by Invest NI and First Trust Bank, the investment will see the spa extend to more than 75,000sq ft by September 2015.

Managing director, Paul Smyth, said, “We want to create something very special at Galgorm Resort and Spa. We are launching what will become an awe inspiring space, where staying overnight or just visiting for the day will be a relaxed, informal and friendly experience to savour.”

The Spa Village will include a Snow Paradise experience, a cold snow room designed to help boost the immune system, along with a relaxation area to be known as The Orangery. The development will also include a relaxation pool, Riverside Sauna, plunge pool and private Dutch Tubs, all set on the banks of the River Maine.

Smyth added, “We are excited for the future of the Resort and feel this new development will firmly place the resort on the international map.”
