Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen opens its doors in Mexico
The Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen has opened in Mexico’s Riviera Maya district. Features at the 314-room and suite hotel include the 557sq m Cenote spa.
The eight-treatment room spa, which has six single and two double treatment rooms, includes a hydrotherapy area, a fitness centre and a pool.
Among the treatments at the spa, which works with luxury Spanish skincare brand Natura Bissé, are facials, massages and body wraps and scrubs. Manicures, pedicures, waxing, haircuts and other salon services are also available.
Signature treatments include an 80-minute Traditional Mayan Massage to relax and detox the body and increase flexibility.
Among other options on the menu is the 90-minute Cenote Rich Mineral Hot Stone treatment, using Mexican onyx.
Other facilities at the property include 929sq m of indoor and outdoor meeting and events space, from meeting rooms and a ballroom to an oceanfront gazebo for wedding party preparations.
The hotel also houses two restaurants and two bars and lounges.
