40 therapists make Lash Festival 2015 finals

40 lash artists have made it to the finals of the Lash Festival 2015, organised by lash extension brand The Eyelash Emporium. 

The two categories in the competition are World Individual Lash Master and World Volume Lash Master and winners are due to be announced on December 21.

The finalists hail from across the globe, with entries from as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, The US, Poland and Hungary.

UK lash artists shortlisted include Tania Withers from Plymouth, Jilly Bourne from Huddersfield in the Individual category, and Zoe Mizon from Rawmarsh and Angelina Salasinski from Birmingham in the Volume category. 

The finalists' work is now on display on the competition website. 

As well as the title, winners will receive a trophy, while finalists are all given a certificate. Last year’s World Lash Masters, Viktoria Tarjan of Hungary and Karen Kirby of England, are  on the judging panel in this year’s competition along with lash stylists and educators including Ana Santiago Garcia of Spain and Vania Silva of Portugal and Wilma Dunn.
