Six Senses to open Bali resort
Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has announced the 2017 opening of a property in Indonesia, the Six Senses Bali.
The resort, which will be located at Uluwatu on the west coast of the island, will feature 62 one-bedroom villas, 28 sky villas and seven two-bedroom villas.
Set on 30 acres on land, the development will also include 60 residential villas that will be available to buy.
Among the facilities at the resort will be a Six Senses Spa. Drawing on Balinese nature and culture, the spa menu will include treatments inspired by the local surroundings, as well as a number of Six Senses signature treatments.
Wellness programmes and detox therapies will also be on offer. Other wellbeing and recreational facilities and services at the resort will include a pool, a gym and complimentary morning yoga.
Bernhard Bohnenberger, president of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, said: "Innovative and fresh, this project will offer a new dimension in wellness for active and health-minded travellers."
Meeting and events facilities will range from a wedding pavilion, a ballroom and two meeting rooms, to an on-site Balinese temple and an Experiences Centre helping to arrange visits to local attractions.
The resort is scheduled for completion by the end of 2017.
