Big Jim’s Trims profits up 15% a month thanks to new mobile app 

Big Jim’s Trims is a funky, modern-day barber shop in Chiswick, West London. After its initial launch in Ealing, a second franchise was set up in Chiswick by Wade Esposito, who has since been trying to take Big Jim’s into the digital world.

Wade said: “I’m an expert with scissors and clippers but I am the first to admit that technology isn’t necessarily my strong suit. I was aware, however, that going mobile was rapidly becoming more important than having a plain old website so decided to look into what options were out there.”

Wade researched a number of app companies before deciding on Appsme. “Appsme promised a way to build an iPhone and Android app for Big Jim’s Trims in just 20 minutes. It sounded too good to be true, so I had to put it to the test”, commented Wade.

The results? Wade quickly built a powerful app including a digital loyalty scheme, in-app deals, e-commerce, in app booking, price list, a contact form, location and directions - plus social feeds from both Facebook and Twitter… 

“The app took no time at all to set up and has been increasing revenue ever since. A real positive is how much my customers love the app - it really helps to make my business look professional”, said Wade.
