Suzi Weiss-Fischmann to become consultant for OPI

OPI co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann is to step down from her role as executive vice president to become a consultant for the nails brand.

The transition will take effect in July and Weiss-Fischmann will remain the brand ambassador for journalists and clients.

OPI was bought by Coty in 2010 and has since been incorporated into the cosmetic giant’s beauty division.

Weiss-Fischmann said: “I have witnessed OPI’s successful evolution in becoming the world leader in professional nail care. Now, more than ever, is the time for nails and I am excited to continue to share my expertise with nail fans across the world.”

Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, said: “Suzi is a living legend in the business. Her creativity and passion led to numerous collaborative partnerships and unique nail color names and shades that women around the world identify with. I want to thank Suzi for her contributions in making OPI the illustrious brand it is today.”
