Pitching a product for Dragons' Den
Salmon and Deely were invited on to the show to pitch Nailpad, their patented and trademarked compact nail beauty accessory, which can be used to paint nails at home or on the go.
After spilling nail polish on her favourite jeans, Deely identified a gap in the market for a nail painting station and sketched out the concept of Nailpad with co-founder Salmon.
What is it like to go on Dragons' Den?
Excited to appear on the show, Salmon and Deely said, “Entering the Den and meeting the Dragons was an incredible experience and exciting challenge throughout the process.
"We loved every nerve-racking minute. The preparation has really helped us to focus on what we want to do next and given us the confidence to do so. We hope the viewers enjoy our experience as much as we have.”
Although no immediate investment was offered in the Den, the Nailpad founders said a fantastic positive for them was the constructive feedback from all Dragons’ which will help immensely moving forward with the next stage of their business journey.
