Tips for successful lash extension application

Kate Baxter, owner of The Dolls House in Inverness and ambassador for professional lash brand Novalash, reveals her top tips for applying a full set of extensions and the common pitfalls to avoid. 

In the video, Baxter covers her top three tips for successful lash extension application and how to implement them in your business. Her advice includes:

Tip one – provide a thorough consultation

“Ask as many questions as you can to find out what the client expects and what the requirements are, such as ‘Do you wear mascara every day? What kind of lifestyle do you live?' These factors will determine the kind of lashes you put on a client,” says Baxter.

Tip two – always apply full sets

Baxter covers the key differences between full and half set lashes and the many ways you can “apply a full set with it still looking very natural,” she says.  

Tip three – always educate on aftercare

Baxter explains that getting the client to take care of their lashes at home will help them last longer. “The right advice helps clients come back time and time again,” she adds.
