150 spas support a stress free National Spa Awareness Week

Over 150 spas have collaborated with The UK Spa Association for National Spa Awareness Week (November 4-8) in support of the military charity Combat Stress.

National Spa Awareness Week coincides with National Stress Awareness Day (November 6), therefore The UK Spa Association has teamed up with the International Stress Management Association (ISMA) to raise awareness about the importance of managing stress in everyday life.

Spas including Rockliffe Hall, The Spa in Dolphin Square and spa chains Champneys and Virgin Active have been inviting clients to take a break from stress in the form of a discounted spa treatment, and raising awareness with fundraising activities and promotional events to discuss stress in every day life.

As part of National Stress Awareness Day, Champneys held a live web TV yesterday (November 6) to discuss its Wellbeing Report, which was commissioned to find out what concerns and stresses people have and what they can do to help the wellbeing of their clients.

Spaseekers & Wahanda are also doing special vouchers to be redeemed at the spas collaborating and others are offering 50% off and two for one massages.
