2015 Wellness Travel Awards shortlist announced
Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Germany, Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona, the Sha Wellness Clinic in Spain, Vana Malsi Estate in India and Kamalaya Koh Samui Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa in Thailand are among the finalists in the 2015 Wellness Travel Awards.
The shortlist, announced yesterday, features 273 hotels, resorts, retreats and destination spas from around the world. The 20 categories in the awards, organised by Spafinder Wellness and now in their second year, include Best for Weight Loss, Best for Nutrition, Best for Fitness, Best Overall Healthy Living Program, Best for Healthy Cuisine, Best New Spa & Wellness Property and Best for the “Wow” Factor.
The finalist properties, which span 53 countries and regions, were voted for by a panel of wellness editors, including Professional Spa & Wellness editor Nora Elias, and other industry experts. Voting has now opened to the public, with consumers able to casts their votes until September 30.

The winners will be announced at a press conference at the World Travel Market in London on November 4. In addition to the category winners, crystal awards and individual country winners will also be announced. The Crystal awards are given to a property on each of the six contents deemed to offer “exceptional wellness experiences”.
