Andrew Gibson leaves Mandarin Oriental for Fairmont

Andrew Gibson, currently group director of spa for the Mandarin Oriental hotel group, will leave the company in January, to become vice president of spa and wellness for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International.
Gibson, who has been head of spa for the Hong-Kong based Mandarin Oriental group for seven years, will take up his new position with the Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel brands on January 8. He will take over from current vice president of spa, Anne McCall Wilson, and said he was “thoroughly looking forward” to his new role.
Gibson, who has over 25 years of spa and hospitality industry experience, worked with companies including Six Senses and spa consultancy Raison d’Etrel prior to joining Mandarin Oriental in 2007 and is on the board of the Global Spa & Wellness Summit.
