Aromatherapy Associates has teamed up with British Airways to offer the airline’s first class passengers an inflight amenity kit. The kits will be introduced on the A380 on the London-Los Angeles route this autumn, rolling out across first class cabins on all other aircraft as of Christmas.
Separate kits have been designed for men and women, containing products form the Aromatherapy Associates range and the brand’s men’s line, The Refinery. The products, designed to address flight related issues such as jetlag and dehydration, include the Triple Rose Renewing Moisturiser and the Firming Eye Serum – for women – and the Revitalising Moisturiser and the Eye Gel for men.
Geraldine Howard, co-founder and president of Aromatherapy Associates said: “As a regular air-traveller, I know all too well the perils of being air-born for long periods of time and each of the products is designed to deliver moisture and radiance to the skin, so passengers can land looking and feeling fresh-faced.”
Following research into the personal grooming items travellers mot desire on a flight, items such as a hairbrush, deodorant and comb have also bee included. Kate Thornton, head of product and service at British Airways, said: “We know from our research that our customers who travel in first class want really useful, good quality, toiletries by well known British brands on-board.”
