Elemis, Clarins and Aromatherapy Associates among CEW Awards winners
Professional brands including Clarins, Elemis, Aromatherapy Associates and Glamglow were among the winners of the 10th Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Awards.
The awards, announced today at Hilton on Park Lane, London, included categories for mass and prestige beauty products, many from professional brands that also retail in stores.
Aromatherapy Associates founder Geraldine Howard collected the award for Best New Bath And Body Product - Prestige for the brand’s Inner Strength Bath & Body Oil.
Elemis was the next pro brand winner, with directors Noella Gabriel and Oriele Frank picking up the Best New Everyday Skincare Product – Prestige award for the Pro Collagen Marine Cream Ultra Rich moisturiser.
Elemis managing director Noella Gabriel said, “We’re delighted that this richer version of our number-one best seller has won such a prestigious award in a highly competitive category. Thank you to everyone who voted for it.”
Best New Self Tan or Sun Care Product – Mass & Prestige went to Clarins for its Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster.
And cult mud treatment brand Glamglow won Best Skincare Treatment Product – Prestige with its Powermud Dual Cleanse Treatment, with the award collected by UK distributor Natalie Roche.
Other winners included consumer brands Charlotte Tilbury, La Roche Posay and Bourjois.
The winners were decided via votes from CEW members, who include industry experts such as top journalists and buyers.
CND Shellac also got a special mention at the beginning of the awards, named as one of the 10 most influential beauty launches of the last 10 years.
Cosmetic Executive Women is a membership organisation that aims to help women network and raise their visibility within the beauty industry.
