Global Spa & Wellness Summit announces 2013 theme
The Global Spa & Wellness Summit (GSWS) has announced A Defining Moment as the theme for the 2013 summit in Jaipur, India, on October 4-8.
The theme incorporates defining moments both for the industry at large and for the businesses and individuals within it. The GSWS has also shared the findings of a recent survey in which key figures within the spa and wellness industry worldwide participated.
The survey, which will help inform the topics covered at the October 2013 event, found three central issues to be of overriding priority for the summit: ancient reflections; highlighting the roots of wellness in order to move the field forward, new markets; looking not only at the Indian spa and wellness market but also the other BRIC countries (Brazil, India, China) and real numbers, focusing on the importance of transparency with regards to any facts and figures shared by speakers.
