One & Only to open first European resort

Luxury hotel group One & Only is set to move into Europe with its first property on the content, in Kumbor, Montenegro. Overlooking the country’s Tivat Bay, the resort will feature 150 rooms and villas and will also host a range of facilities that include a tennis academy, a spa, retail outlets and a marina.
The 24 hectares property will overlook a 1.2km stretch of Adriatic Sea coastline. The hotel cuisine will reflect the culinary traditions of the country and the region, with the health spa on the premises similarly drawing on the country’s spa and wellness heritage. The One & Only Montenegro will also incorporate events and meeting facilities.
Marking the first European development for One & Only − which currently operates hotels and resorts in Dubai, the Bahamas, the Maldives, Mauritius, South Africa and Mexico – the hotel will be managed in a joint partnership between destinations and resorts management company Kerzner International and Triangle Investments and Development.
