The Ayurah Wellness Centre opens at Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga resort in Phuket, Thailand
The Ayurah Wellness Centre has opened at the Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga resort in Phuket, Thailand.
The six-treatment room spa is centred on four pillars of wellness: weight optimisation, anti-ageing, detoxification and mind balance.
Blending eastern and western philosophy and offering ‘pampering with purpose,’ the centre takes a results-oriented approach to spa and wellness services.
The centre employs at team that includes personal trainers, nutritionists and therapists, with services including yoga, pilates and tai chi.
Among the treatments on the menu are facials developed by London-based beauty expert Linda Meredith.
The Linda Meredith selection of facials range from the Collagen Mask facial and the V-Tox Oxygen treatment, to the Haute Couture Facial, which includes exfoliation and a massage, among other elements.
Among the other treatments on the menu are chromotherapy, body polishes, mud and clay treatments, a wide range of massages and firming and body shaping treatments.
Anchalika Kijkanakorn, managing director of AHMS The Collection and chairman of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, said:
“The considered and knowledgeable medical methodology behind Ayurah Wellness presents a programme of practical treatments that deliver on their promises.
It is based on a more thoughtful personal lifestyle, and we are providing the holistic and medical science to help guests improve their bodies and minds during their stay.”
Facilities at the wellness centre include a relaxation area, chromotherapy baths, and an experience shower.
The opening of the centre is part of a wider redevelopment of the Aleenta Phuket-Phang Nga, part of the AHMS The Collection hotel group.
The work on the resort has also seen the addition of a 40-metre infinity pool, a kids’ club and a beachfront restaurant.
The final stage of the redevelopment will be completed with the opening of the 34 new garden villas in August.
