Official opening for the Ô de Rose spa at the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech

The Mövenpick hotel group has announced the official opening of the spa at the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech.

The Ô de Rose spa, developed in partnership with French skincare brand Cinq Mondes, spans 1,500sq m and stretches across two floors.

Features at the spa include six single treatment rooms and one double treatment suite. The spa’s concept and décor draws inspiration from the era of Morocco’s 16th century Sultan Al Mansour.

The décor, which incorporates mosaic tiles and geometric patterns, also references the period of the Saadian dynasty, to which Sultan Al Mansour belonged, which ruled during the 16th and 17th centuries.

This is also where the Ô de Rose name comes from, as rosewater was popular with the Saadian nobility.

Facilities at the spa include a hammam complex incorporating four private treatment areas – two of which are equipped with their own steam rooms.

The spa also has an outdoor pool and whirlpool, a sauna, relaxation area, a nail studio offering services in partnership with Semilac, and a hair salon stocking L'Oréal products.

Among the treatments and experiences at the spa is the North African Rhassoul Wrap and the Relaxing North African Massage, incorporating warm, perfumed argan oil. Other options include the Purifying Scrub with Beldi Black Soap, a traditional hammam ritual.

The Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech joined the Mövenpick collection in 2016, reopening in 2016 after a period of extensive renovation work.
