The spa at the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg opens

The spa at the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg has opened for business. 

The first Four Seasons spa in South Africa, it covers 1,200sq m and features nine treatment rooms, including a spa suite. 

Facilities at the spa include saunas and steam rooms, a whirlpool, a heated outdoor pool, and an ice fountain. 

The spa also features rooftop lounge Après-Spa, an outdoor space where light, healthy cuisine is served. 

The spa works with French skincare brand Biologique Recherche and South African brand Terres d'Afrique. 

Exclusive in Johannesburg to the spa at the Four Seasons, Terres d'Afrique is an organic range with a focus on the use of African plants, including rooibos, baobab and buchu. 

Treatments on the spa menu include the 90-minute Gold of Mapungubwe ritual, incorporating a baobab oil and salt body polish and a balancing and detoxifying massage.

Also on the menu is the Red Nomads Revitalizing Experience, also 90 minutes long and including dry skin brushing, reflexology on the hands and feet and the application of a plant-based body mask.
