WTA issues 2013 call for entries

The World Travel Awards (WTA) has issued a call for entries for the 2013 awards. Recognising and rewarding quality and achievement in the international travel industry, including a range of accolades for spas and wellness resorts, the WTA was established in 1993 and is now in its 20th year.

Nominations for all the different regions into which the WTA are divided; the Indian Ocean, Middle East, Africa, Europe, Central America, South America, Caribbean, North America, Asia and Australasia regions, are now open. Nomination for the different regions does, however, close on different dates, with the Indian Ocean being the first to close, on February 17 and Asia and Australasia being the last to close, on April 22.

The Indian Ocean is also the first region to open for voting, on February 17, closing on March 17. The last regional voting slots are similarly the ones for Asia and Australasia, both opening on May 9 and closing on August 8. During the course of the year, the WTA will go on a 2013 Grand Tour that will take in locations ranging rom Dubai, Peru and the Maldives to Singapore, Kenya and Antiqua.
