Aesthetic Medicine editor among winners at My Face My Body Awards
Aesthetic Medicine editor Vicky Eldridge was among the winners at the My Face My Body Awards, which was held on Saturday night, November 7.
The aesthetic beauty industry awards were voted for by consumers and winners decided by a panel of expert judges. The ceremony took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Park Lane, Mayfair.
Money was raised on the night for the Diana Award, which aims to develop young people and engage them in social action.
The concept behind the awards is to give consumers a voice to nominate their favourite aesthetic brands, products and services, rewarding product innovation, effectiveness and popularity. The 22 categories cover the aesthetic, dental and media industries.
Vicky Eldridge, editor of Professional Beauty sister publication Aesthetic Medicine, won the award for Journalist or Beauty Blogger of the Year. Other winners included Skinade for Best Home Use Product or Device, Neostrata Skin Active Triple Firming Neck Cream for Best Anti Ageing Product and Lynton Lasers for Best Customer Service by a Manufacturer or Supplier.
Stephen Handisides of Handi Media, who created the awards, said: “After the huge success of last year’s awards we hoped that the standard of entries would be as good as last year; we were therefore overjoyed when so many outstanding brands, companies and personalities took part.”
The My Face My Body Awards is launching its inaugural Australasian awards in Sydney on the November 28, with an American offshoot planned to launch in 2016.
