Alex Box to leave Illamasqua

Revered make-up artist Alex Box will leave her role as creative director at make-up brand Illamasqua next year.

The brand’s products are popular among pro make-up artists as well as consumers. Box joined in 2008 and has played an integral part in shaping the brand’s ethos and philosophy, said an official statement.

She will officially be leaving the brand in January 2016 to pursue “exciting and colourful new projects” of her own.

She commented: “After the most incredible journey building Illamasqua - it’s ethos, energy, visual language and beautiful products, it’s now time for me to continue my own personal journey. It has been a road of inspiration that has connected me with the most beautiful hearts around the world. I am honoured to have worked with you and shared the spirit of Illamasqua. I look forward to how the future unfolds for me as it does for Illamasqua and everyone on life’s journey together.”
