Aman Resorts announces series of 2015 global wellness retreats
Aman Resorts has announced a series of 2015 wellness retreats at its properties worldwide.
Three, seven and 14-day Ayurveda retreat will be held at the Amangalla in Sri Lanka between May 1 this year and April 30, 2016. The programme has been developed to balance energy and for revitalising effect.
The three-night Ayurvedic Taster is suited to those new to the practice, while the seven-night Ayurvedic Relaxer and the 14-day Ayurvedic Detox are appropriate for those looking for more substantial results.
The Aman at Summer Palace in Beijing will host Restorative Movement retreats in May and November, available as three, five and seven-night options.
The retreats draw on traditional Chinese medicine and healing to improve wellbeing and include spa treatments, a naturopathic consultation and daily tai chi classes, among other elements.
The Movement and Flow retreats, held at the Amanzoe in Greece in May and September, will focus on balancing guests’ energy and clearing Qi blockages.
Amanzoe will also host Ayurveda & Yoga retreats in October, which will include craniosacral therapy and marma energy therapy.
The Inner Reflection retreats at the Amantaka in Laos in May and June will be four nights long and focus on the principles of peace and mindfulness, central to Buddhist philosophy.
The Truth From Within retreats, held at Amankora in Bhutan in May and September, will be led by Buddhist monk the 9th Neyphug Trulku Rinpoche, and incorporate meditation and life coaching.
Amandari in Bali will hold Disconnect & Connect retreats this summer, which will encourage participants to relax the mind by connecting with nature, and will include mountain biking and guided walks.
The Holistic Specialist retreats at the Amanoi in Vietnam in July and August will be hosted by visiting holistic practitioner Cameron Walker and focus on releasing muscle cramps through different healing methods.
Two other retreats, centred around raw food and movement respectively, will also be held at the Amanoi this summer.
