Audi dealership in Poole opens in-showroom beauty salon

An Audi dealership in Poole, Dorset, has opened an in-showroom beauty salon to “raise the bar in terms of customer satisfaction”. 

The Schön Beauty & Relaxation at Poole Audi features nail stations and a treatment room, as well as a mosaic eye wall made up of 99,000 individually hand-placed tiles.

The salon is offering 15-minute complementary taster treatments to help rejuvenate customers mind, body and soul while their car is with the service team, with clients able to choose from either an express OPI manicure, mini facial, back, neck and shoulder massage, hand and arm massage, eyebrow shape or refreshing eye treatment.

Alternatively, clients can book themselves in for longer treatments, such as an £85 full-body massage, receiving credit off their first treatment in replacement of the taster service.

It was the relocation of the dealership site that inititally sparked the idea of an in-house beauty salon. David Kelly, MD of Audi dealership Ocean Automotive, said: “When I first decided to relocate the Poole Audi showroom and workshop, I wanted something really special for our customers. Just imagine if we could offer a therapeutic massage, manicure or professional shave while one’s car is being serviced?”

Ocean worked with K&K Interiors and Trend Transformations to get the renovation completed. Talking about the project, K&K’s Keeley Fox commented: “David virtually gave us carte blanche on the design and we felt we could be bold enough to specify the eye design, knowing that Trend team would be able to carry our brief to not only fruition but to a very high standard. The whole salon is beautifully stylish but the mosaic eye really is the winning feature.”
