Bedford Lodge appoints new spa manager

Suffolk-based The Spa at Bedford Lodge has appointed Leanna Kew as its new spa manager following the departure of Anna Ramsay to The Good Spa Guide.

Kew joins the team from the Barnham Broom Hotel in Norfolk, where she was also spa manager. She has been in the industry for seven years, with stints at Elemis, Clarins, and Espa, which is the main skincare brand stocked at Bedford Lodge.

Kew said she has plans to push the business forward in 2015. “I believe The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel is unparalleled in this area. My passion lies in delivering a seamless customer experience. Each member of the team has an important role to play and I am committed to staff development and leading a happy and motivated team,” she said.

The Spa at Bedford Lodge, in Newmarket in Suffolk, opened in July 2013, with Anna Ramsay at the helm. Ramsay left to take up a role at The Good Spa Guide in October.

The spa is a finalist in the Professional Beauty Awards 2015, in the Residential Spa of the Year – 10 Rooms or Fewer category.
