Charity waxing masterclass with Wax Daddy Andy Rouillard taking place in Sheffield

PB Influencer Samantha Humberstone, owner of Sheffield-based salon Lotions n Potions, is teaming up with Wax Daddy Andy Rouillard to host a comprehensive waxing workshop in January. 

The event, taking place at SJH Training school on Monday, January 28, is open to all therapists who want to learn from the pros, covering hot wax tips and tricks, advice on boosting your male waxing revenue and other common troubleshooting issues. 

The day is split into two parts – the morning will be the waxing masterclass with Rouillard, called Man up your Salon Offering – Male Grooming 101, and the afternoon will consist of a network meeting for members of SING (Salon Industry Networking Group), for which Humberstone is a host centre for in Sheffield. 

All money from the day will be donated to No Panic, a mental health charity that helps people with panic disorders and mental wellness concerns. 

“I know mental health has been a talking point in many industry groups and forums among therapists. Andy and I feel it's really important to raise awareness that the wellness of our mental health is so important,” Humberstone told Professional Beauty.

“Problems can affect every single one of us in today’s busy society. The issues of running a business and looking after clients wellbeing means therapists are very often not looking after themselves.”
