City and Guilds launches online training scheme for therapists
City and Guilds has launched a partnership with hairdressing education website MyHairDressers.com to offer beauty and hair students online training resources.
Available from September 1, online video tutorials will offer training in latest techniques, qualification performance criteria and trade knowledge. There will be 507 videos and 838 supporting written documents.
Diane Mitchell, hair portfolio manager at City and Guilds, said she was delighted about the partnership. “These videos use innovative new technology to give hair and beauty students access to the best training available and are an exciting development. This project is a fantastic example of how industry and educational provides can work together to enhance opportunities for trainers and learners alike,” she said.
The material is aimed at students undertaking NVQs, VRQs and SVQs from Levels 1-3, and includes elements of maths and English.
