Dormy House spa appoints team ahead of February opening

The new House Spa development at Dormy House hotel in the Cotswolds has recruited a core team ahead of its opening, which is scheduled for February 4, 2014.

The hotel, on Farncombe Estate in Worcestershire, has appointed Zoe Douglas as spa manager. Douglas was previously spa manager of Hotel Missoni in Edinburgh.

Other new appointments include spa membership manager Tracy Philpott, head therapist Georgie Smith and other spa therapists.

The spa is part of a £10million refurbishment of the Dormy House Hotel. Consultant Neil Howard of Howard Spa Consulting and design house Sparcstudio are working on the project.

Brands used will include Temple Spa, which is developing a menu of exclusive treatments for the spa, and Butter London, which is supplying products for the spa's Veuve Clicquot Champagne Nail Parlour.

Facilities will include a 16m infinity pool, a hydro pool, a thermal suite and two gyms. Spa memberships will be limited to 200 people
