FHT announces training congress

The UK’s Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) has announced a training congress featuring 14 workshops on September 6.

The training day, to be held in Stratford-upon-Avon, will cover a wide range of topics, from pain management and shoulder injuries, to reflexology and how to treat darker complexions.

The event is open both to members and non-members, with speakers at the event including therapist, trainer and lecturer Kim Ford, Peter Mackereth, clinical lead nurse for complementary health and wellbeing services at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and osteopath Simeon Neil-Asher.

Jennifer Wayte, president of the FHT, said: “Every year we run our training congress to provide therapists with access to comprehensive CPD courses to further their skills.” For more information, and to book tickets, go to www.fht.org.uk/2015
