Guest blog: enhancing the treatment experience with a make-up add-on

Danielle Bookatz, brand manager for Jane Iredale, explains why the company is encouraging therapists to carry out one-minute makeovers after every treatment.

Giving clients a reason to engage and purchase your products is essential, and one way to do that is to demonstrate how simple it is to use the brand you’re selling.

That’s why this year at Jane Iredale we launched the campaign “It Only Takes a Minute”. Targeted at therapists, it encourages them to carry out a one-minute makeover on clients after every treatment.

The aim is to enhance the treatment experience for clients by finishing it off with application of protective, anti-inflammatory, mineral make-up, which contains vitamins and antioxidants, delivering added value for the business and capitalising on the retail opportunity in an easy and sustainable way.

We also launched an exciting competition to get the general public engaging in the campaign on social media, asking people to video, post and tag their one-minute makeovers using #itonlytakesaminute. The winning client will win £100 worth of Jane Iredale products.

To keep the campaign at the forefront, we’ve also created new videos to support the launch of the campaign demonstrating how simple it is to use our products within a minute.
