Medical & Aesthetic Training Academy launches Level 5 laser and light qualifications

Medical & Aesthetic Training Academy (MATA) is launching a new suite of Level 5 laser and light-based therapy qualifications this month.

The qualifications, which will be taught throughout the UK by experienced practitioners and tutors, will offer theory and practice learning, combining distance and face-to-face teaching with hands-on treatments and clinic-based assessments.

The qualifications are:

• Advanced Professional Certificate in Laser and Light Hair Reduction Level 5
• Advanced Professional Certificate in Laser Tattoo Removal Level 5
• Advanced Professional Certificate in Laser and Light-Based Therapies Level 5 – offering optional units of vascular and pigmented lesions, non-ablative and ablative rejuvenation, hair reduction and tattoo removal.

All qualifications reflect the latest Health Education England (HEE) guidelines, are awarded my Eduqual and endorsed by an Ofqual-recognised organisation.

Everyone from beauty therapists who are Level 3–4 qualified, tattoo removal practitioners and healthcare professionals, to those with suitable prior experience and able to demonstrate an ability to study at Level 4 or higher, can apply for the courses.
