HD Brows joins body positivity movement with untouched campaign imagery

HD Brows has taken a stance against body-shaming with its new “Love Yourself. More” campaign, which features unedited photos of models to help spread self-love.

The beauty brand’s body positivity campaign shows six models – Coral, Savanna, Sarai, Jamie, Regina and Penelope – styled with different make-up looks to “represent beauty in every form”, and all images have been untouched in a stance against photoshopping.

HD Brows is the latest company to take part in the movement towards body positivity in the beauty industry, with day spa chain Spa Experience by Better recently launching a campaign promoting its facilities featuring real clients

The models were also asked a series of body-positive questions by HD Brows, including their secrets to self-confidence and which features they love most about themselves.

Coral (pictured far right) said: “My secret to loving yourself is not to compare yourself with other people. Being mixed race and ginger with freckles is unique so I definitely get more stares and questions, which has taken some getting used to.”

Lead brow stylist for the company, Jamie (third from the right), also featured in the campaign, commenting: “My eyebrows give me confidence because I’ve learned to embrace the fact that they’re different. For years, I used to tint them to try and make them look exactly the same but now I’m just like, they’re two different colours, embrace it.”

What do you make of the campaign? Comment below.
