Hilden Style Awards finalists announced

The finalists in the 2015 Hilden Style Awards have been announced. Three finalists have been chosen in each category: Most Stylish Bedroom, Most Stylish Bathroom and Most Stylish Dining Experience.

The finalists in the bedroom category are Unique Chic Lets’ Bijou Apartment in Edinburgh; the Spitbank Fort hotel off the coast of Portsmouth; and the Yorebridge House hotel in the Yorkshire Dales.

In the bathroom category, the finalists are the Artist Residence boutique hotel in London; Balmule House, located in a historic property in Dunfermline, Scotland; and Yorebridge House – the only finalist to be have a room in more than one category.

The Cambium fine dining restaurant at Careys Manor Hotel in the New Forest is one of the finalists in the dining category, as is the Mockingbird Taproom restaurant and bar in Chester and The Church Inn of Mobberley tavern in Cheshire.

The awards, which date back to 2012, are hosted by hospitality textile brand Hilden and open to independent dining and accommodation establishments in the UK. 

Rod Nutter, Style Awards judge and commercial director at Hilden, said: “This year’s calibre was outstanding. The awards continue to grow in esteem year on year and attracts some of the most beautiful and stunning secret escapes in the UK. Anyone looking for inspiration or a staycation this year can definitely take note of our final nine.”

Each finalist is visited by a member of the Hilden team. Once the visits have been completed next month, an independent panel of judges that includes Professional Spa & Wellness magazine editor Nora Elias will meet to choose the winners.
