In our presentation we hope to address a few of the myths surrounding Indie Beauty and address the challenges that all brands are experiencing in this every changing market place.

When and why did independent beauty brands appear? How are they perceived by the consumer and by the industry? 

The question that is really on everyone's lips is how do you build a successful beauty/cosmetic business? There are unfortunately no short cuts however there are a few Goldilocks stories to keep us dreaming.

Business and strategy planning are very much required especially if you are seeking out investment or need to understand what ROI you should expect on marketing plans.

We will also explore the hidden costs to partnering up with traditional bricks and mortar retailers and the giant multi national retailers versus e-commerce on brands own website or third party websites.

The changes we are seeing  in the buying  habits  of consumers  from buying directly off social media and to having orders delivered in hours directly to their homes.

We will address common questions that we see come up again and again in our interactions with buyers and brands and hopefully lessons learnt will gift attendees something useful to walk away with.
