Iguazu Beauty to host event for beauty professionals

Iguazu Beauty & Aesthetic Training is hosting an event aimed at salon and spa professionals on 7 March 2022.

Taking place in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Co Westmeath, Boost Your Business will feature industry experts who will address topics such as salon and spa trends, the art of recommendation, business strategy, social media and taking on clients with cancer.

Guest speakers include Lydia Safari, CEO and founder of Sarkli Repêchage. The American aesthetician and entrepreneur is credited with having introduced seaweed-based skin treatments in the US. Together with her husband, she founded her seaweed-based cosmetics company in 1980.

Known as a pioneer in the field of aesthetics in the US, her skincare methods are practised by aestheticians around the world. Sarfati is also author of Success at Your Fingertips: How to Succeed in the Skin Care Business, which she wrote to help salon and spa professionals achieve business success. 

Also in the Boost Your Business speaker line-up is The Creative Society, a social media and brand expert company that runs interactive workshops designed for small business owners to help improve their online presence; brow and lash expert Suzanne Egan; and cancer survivor Vanessa Garcia. They will be joined by oncology experts, along with scalp and wig specialists.
