In the Kit... with Andrew Hansford
Beauty and aesthetics trainer and educator Andrew Hansford has had over a quarter of a decade working internationally within the beauty industry, giving ample time and opportunity to try and test a number of products and devices, and the learn which ones are actually worth the investment.
As part of our 'In the Kit' series, the founder of ACH Aesthetics shared with us his five favourite products and devices.
1. Revision Skincare C+ Correcting Serum 30%

Hansford describes this antioxidand blend as "a must" due to the formula containing 30% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, allowing the products to work into a deeper level for better results, as well as promoting the natural production of vitamins C and E for healthy, glowy skin whilst repairing sun damage and creating a stronger defence against sun damage.
As a big fan of the product for personal use as well as for his clients, Hansford says the serum, "really makes my skin glow, I have never used a vitamin C serum like it."
2. Fillmed B3 Recovery Cream

Fillmed's Recovery Cream has prooved itself as an aftercare product for aesthetic procexures, but Hansford recommends reaching for the product post treatment treatment, or even just as a boost for inflamed or broken skin.
Vitamin B3 boosts collagen synthesis and strengthens the skin barrier, whilst hydrating properties protect sensitive and reactive skin from aggressions.
Hansford's top tip for the cream is that, "It an also be used for sensitized skins. I use it due its soothing and reparative properties."
3. Artemis PlaSon

Designed to sterilize the skin, remove bacteria and germs, and aid in transdermal absorption within the skin, the PlaSon Device from Artemis stimulates skin regeneration and boosts collagen for clearer, healthier and firmer skin.
"This device is a must for me as it allows product penetration at a deeper level – proven - without the use of more invasion procedures," shares Hansford.
"After using this on my own skin I cannot begin tell you the difference it made - the device is simple, effective and proven, and is sometimes even referred to as the airbrushed treatment."
4. Hypo21

This skin spray is a product Hansford believes to be "an absolute first for the industry", and one that "should be used by everybody."
The Hypo21 Purifying Skin Spray is the first cosmetically licensed pure HOCL skincare solution, suitable for use on all skin types and ages.
Speaking on it's many uses, Hansford shares that the spray is, "also soothing for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions," adding that, "since its launch just over a year ago the submitted photographs are incredible, showing so many different forms of inflammatory and acneic conditions that have either been calmed or cleared up by the product."

5. Fillmed HXR Eye Cream

This eye cream features hexylresorcinol to diminsh the appearance of dark circles, escin, which reduces puffiness, and arg-lys peptide to smooth the appearance of wrinkles.
As for Hansford's top tip when working wiht this product, he adds, "It can also be used on other areas of the face like around the mouth where you may have lines."
