Industry names Cheryl Cole as client beauty icon

Salon clients' ideal look combines the hair and eyelashes of Cheryl Cole, Katie Prices’ tan, Rihanna’s nails and Angelina Jolie’s lips according to a survey of over 1,500 UK hair and beauty professionals.

The research conducted by hair and beauty supplier Salon Services found that 22% of professionals said Cheryl Cole provides the most inspiration for customers’ hair, 24% for eyelashes and 10% for eyebrows.

Clients seek inspiration from Angelina Jolie for their lips according to 23% of professionals and Katie Price inspires 12% of customers for tanning, followed by Amy Childs Towie tan with 11%.

Rihanna also provides inspiration for nails and hair, with Jessie J, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry also pushing nail trends. 

The research also showed that David Beckham continues to be the most inspirational man when it comes to looking good with nearly half (49%) of respondents saying their clients look to him for hair, facial hair and tanning inspiration.
