LCBT updates Level 4 advanced aesthetics beauty therapy courses with online learning system

The London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) has launched new Level 4 beauty therapy courses as part of a flexible learning research pilot that the college won from the Government last year.
The advanced aesthetic courses, which are accredited by Cibtac (The Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology), are an update of the colleges current Level 4 qualifications, but now include a suite of online and interactive materials as part of a flexible learning research pilot.
Students studying the Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetics, which covers chemical peels, microneedling and more, will be provided with extensive knowledge and understanding of skin, its assessment, and the remedial aesthetic practices used in the industry to develop and maintain skin health.
“Our graduating beauty therapists are in high demand with salons and spas growing their businesses, needing more Level 3 and Level 4 trained therapists, especially when there’s a shortage in the industry,” commented principal Christianne Cavaliere.
“The Advanced Aesthetics course offer great opportunities for therapists wanting to develop in their career and achieve higher earnings. It’s an exciting growth sector.”
LCBT have course dates in September, October and December and there are funding options available. The courses are also run to allow students to work full-time at the same time.
“This will be one of the most comprehensive accredited qualifications available to the medi-spa sector,” said a statement from the college.
The college is hosting an open event on Thursday, July 25, at 5pm for those interested to find out more.
