Wellness event Liquid Sound Festival 2020 going virtual this year

The Liquid Sound Festival is returning this year but as a virtual-only event, with wellness-goers able to immerse themselves in the event’s light and music show from the comfort of their own homes.

The event, where attendees listen to talented artists playing contemporary electronic and ambient music above and under water in a salt water pool, can’t happen as a physical festival at the Toskana Therme Spa this year due to coronavirus restrictions.

Instead, Liquid Sound Festival 2020 will be a live streaming event, taking place from November 6–8, and attendees will be encouraged to watch and listen to the performances while soaking in their own bath.

The Liquid Sound Festival 2020 programme includes:

Friday 6 November 

Opening ceremony and warm-up concert with Stereolites – 19:00–22.30 

Saturday 8 November 

• Stereolites - hauntingly tender and rocking from Lake Constance 
• Frohe Zukunft (Happy Future) – the intoxicating Balkan brass orchestra 
• Mikroelektro – DJ/saxophone duo from Thuringia with love (Martin Hübner and Robert Fränzel) 
• Shimmering videos on the projection globe with visual artist Conzum from Jena 
• Late night programme powered by nthirteen live (Erfurt / ambient, lofi, electro); charming ambient music DJ duo (Weimar / Ambient & Future Dub DJ-Set / Maud K & Lino Rex).
