Macdonald Hotels & Resorts appoints new spa manager
Hotel group Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has appointed a new spa manager.
Emma Bates has been named spa manager at the four-star Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, where she will manage a team of eight.
Bates, who has more than 10 years’ spa and beauty industry experience, joins Macdonald from airport nail bar chain Cloud Nails, where she was manager of the Birmingham Airport branch.
Her previous roles includes a spa manager role within the Bannatyne group of health clubs and spas. Commenting on her new role at Macdonald, she said:

As spa manager, Bates will be part of training therapist taking part in the spa apprenticeship programme Macdonald launched in collaboration with The International School of Beauty Therapy in August this year.
Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has 45 properties across the UK, including 23 spa hotels.
