Massage therapist Hayley Snishko launches course for therapists
Massage therapist and Massage4MentalHealth founder Hayley Snishko is set to release a course to empower therapists in enhancing their clients’ mental wellbeing.
The online course, titled "Therapeutic Connection: Elevating Therapist's Understanding of Client Mental Well-being", took Snishko a year to create and is scheduled to officially launch in November.
Snishko, who is a finalist for Therapist of the Year and Mobile/Home-Based Beauty Business of the Year at the 2024 Professional Beauty Awards, designed the course as an exploration of subjects that are crucial in today’s therapeutic landscape, including mental health awareness, the therapeutic relationship, and massage and mental health.
Backed by prominent psychotherapist Helen Farrell, the course has garnered support from experts who recognise its significance in advancing the field of massage therapy.
While the course is set to launch next month, people who register now will gain access to exclusive information and enjoy early bird privileges.

Snishko, who owns Home Sanctuary in Surrey said, “I’m absolutely delighted to share with you my new, Babtac-accredited course.
“Mental health awareness is part of this course but it’s so much more than that – we’ll be taking a look at how massage therapy can impact the lives of our clients living with mental health conditions.
“We’ll also be taking a look at the subjects of the therapeutic relationship and self-care. These are incredibly important subjects which demand our attention and understanding.
“I am committed to equipping therapists with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.”
She added, “I’ve spent the last year dedicating myself to creating this course and it brings me so much joy to be able to share it with you.”
