Menique De La Rosa appointed regional spa director, Caribbean at Rosewood

Menique De La Rosa has been appointed regional spa director, Caribbean for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and spa director at Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.

De La Rosa who has more then 10 years’ industry experience, was previously spa director at Rosewood Tucker's Point in Bermuda.

Since her appointment last month, she has introduced a number of initiatives at the Sense spa at Little Dix Bay, including adding new treatments inspired by the spa’s location.

Other initiatives include adding yoga, meditation and breathing practices to the menu and growing plants for use in spa treatments in the property’s’ garden.

Ed Lindsley, managing director of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, said: “Wellness has become an integral part of today’s travel experience, and as the Sense spa brand continues to evolve, we are looking to develop new and innovative experiences for our guests.

“Menique has been a leader at a number of prestigious spas around the world and we look forward to collaborating with her on creating an entirely new wellness experience at all of Rosewood’s Caribbean Sense spas.”
