New MD for Sally Salon Services
Sally Beauty Holdings UK & Ireland announced today the promotion of Michael Dewey to managing director, taking effect on April 7.
Dewey replaces Richard Hull who has left the business to pursue other interests.
Dewey joined SBH in 2005 as vice president of internal audi and was promoted to vice president of strategy and global transactions in 2008.
Commenting on Dewey’s new appointment, SBH president Christian Brickamn said, “Michael brings tremendous experience across both our North American and European businesses and I am delighted to welcome him into his new role.”
In addition, Warren Scar will take over from Alan Revitt as chief marketing officer. Scarr joins from B&Q, where he led the company’s customer strategy. He also has experience with J Sainsbury and the Woolworths Group.
