New products for a modern tan

Illuminating Tanning Drops are Vitage's first foray into tanning. The drops, with antioxidant vitamin E and citric acid, can be added to moisturisers for a customisable tan. Tanning agents DHA and erythrulose are combined for an even, natural-looking colour that develops gradually over two to four hours. Vitage advises using between one and three drops per 50p-size amount of moisturiser, depending on desired colour intensity.

Sienna X is launching two new tailored Spray Tan Solutions, one aimed at brides and one for men. The first is a guideless spray for those who prefer not to wear a guide colour or want to avoid any colour transfer onto bridal gowns after a last-minute tan. It sprays on clear and develops over eight hours, with 8% DHA. Developed specifically for male clients, the second is scented with a unisex musk and vetiver fragrance and also uses an 8% DHA for a light to medium finish.

There are two new professional prep products from Fake Bake, both fragranced with a delicate coconut scent. Body Polish is formulated to improve absorption and efficiency of tan. It contains coconut fibre for deep exfoliation and doesn’t leave any soapy residue. Oil Free Moisturiser contains anti-inflammatory and hydrating pro-vitamin B5 and can be used on both the face and body pre-tan. The moisturiser is also formulated to leave a clean finish to ensure smooth, even application of tanning agents.
