This week’s free online education includes an in-depth guide to the most popular brow treatments, covering brow lamination and microblading; advice on what to do if you’re falling through the gaps in coronavirus financial support; and a highly-anticipated male waxing 101 session.

What to expect from this week’s PB webinar line-up (April 27–May 1):
Monday 27 April – 3pm – Covid-19 panel with Hellen Ward, Hilary Hall and Samantha Grocutt – “Coronavirus: what to do if you’re falling through the gaps in financial support”
This session will look at the help and support available to those not covered by the Government’s new initiatives as well as reminding salon owners about the range of support that is available to them. The industry’s own charity, The Hair & Beauty Charity, is also offering support through its Covid-19 relief fund and the group will share how it is helping beauty professionals, as well as outline how you can help others.
The panel includes Hilary Hall, chief executive of the NHBF; Samantha Grocutt, president of the Hair and Beauty Charity; and Hellen Ward, managing director of Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa.
Tuesday 28 April – 3pm – Live webinar with waxer Kerri-Ann Angus – “Male waxing 101"
Kerri-Ann Angus, owner of Peaches Salons in Glasgow and Falkirk and the Peaches Academy, and Perron Rigot brand ambassador for Scotland, will be delivering an in-depth session on male waxing, covering the most popular treatments (brows, nose, back, etc) to offer and common troubleshooting techniques, as well as effective ways to market these services to men. Wednesday 29 April – 11am – Live webinar with brow specialist Racheal Hall – “Brow treatments: what you need to know about lamination, microblading and semi-permanent”
With so many different brow treatments on the market, Racheal Hall, owner of Eye/Brow Envy salon in Accrington, will explain the skills needed to perform three of the most popular services – brow lamination, microblading and semi-permanent. Hall will talk through the benefits of each, common troubleshooting issues and how to market these services, as well as take questions from the audience.

Friday 1 May – 4pm – Instagram Live with celebrity spray tanner Jules Von Hep – “How to stay positive during Covid-19 and top spray tanning tips”
Jules Von Hep, celebrity spray tan artist, author of Get Body Posi and creator of self-tanning brand The Isle of Paradise, will be covering three big issues: how to stay mentally healthy during coronavirus lockdown, how mobile spray tanners can prep their business to reopen, and how he made it big in the industry.
