Monday 15 June – 3pm – Live webinar Stefania Rossi – “Nurturing your beauty therapists career paths when you reopen”
Stefania Rossi, director of PB Award-winning salon Utopia Beauty & Advanced Skincare and founder of recruitment agency Stefania Rossi Recruitment, will discuss how to nurture and motivate your team when you can finally reopen post-coronavirus and the challenges that may come with this – from managing staff levels when some therapists may still be on furlough or only brought back part-time, to how to manage therapists aspirations when the salon is struggling financially and can’t give promotions. Tuesday 16 June – 3pm– Live webinar Denise Wright – “How to win nail competitions across the globe”
Award-winning nail tech and director of Professional Beauty’s Nail Competitions, Denise Wright, will reveal what you need to do to become a winner in nail competitions across the globe. Wright will cover the common competition do’s and don’ts, reveal the key things judges look out for and will explain the attitude you need to make it in this type of environment. Wednesday 17 June – 10am – Live webinar with Dr Nick Lowe – “Everything you need to know about eczema”
Nick Lowe, consultant dermatologist at Cranley Clinic in London and clinical professor of dermatology at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, will deliver an eczema 101 to both Professional Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine audiences in this exclusive joint session, covering why the skin condition occurs in adults, the different types of eczema, spotting the symptoms and knowing how to refer the client to a specialist. Thursday 18 June – 3pm – Live webinar with Marta Zaczkowska – “Pregnancy waxing 101: top tips for waxing clients pre- and post-pregnancy”
Marta Zaczkowska, director and chief executive of salon Waxing Specialist, will cover how to be on the safe side when waxing pregnant clients, and how to confidently approach a post-pregnancy intimate wax. She will explain the essential safety measures and procedures to be aware of, share her top waxing techniques and explain why this clientele is a booming market.
