This week’s PB Webinar line-up includes some big industry names and big troubleshooting issues, covering social media, waxing and more. 

To tie in with Professional Beauty’s Waxing & Sugaring Week, taking place on the PB website from May 18–24, we have two exclusive waxing discussions happening – 1.) how to meet clients wax expectations every time, and 2.) the safety and hygiene protocols you’ll have to adhere to when you reopen after Covid-19 lockdown.

We will also have a session on how you can use Instagram and Facebook to boost your beauty business during this time of closure, as well as information on how you can make it as a top session tech.

Monday 18 May – 3pm – Live webinar panel with Lisa Stone, Amy Lewis and Jamie Godfrey – “How to meet clients’ waxing expectations”

This panel will cover how waxers can meet clients’ waxing expectations every single time, from how to manage the nervous first-timer to delivering a first-class treatment for pregnant customers and those with mobility issues, and much more. Our three waxing pros will be answering troubleshooting queries from the audience too. Tuesday 19 May – 3pm – Live webinar panel with Lisa Maynard-Atem – “The social sessions: using social media during lockdown"

Social media usage has increased exponentially since the start of coronavirus lockdown, from both a professional and personal perspective. Lisa Maynard-Atem, founder of The Social Word, will explain how to use social media effectively during this time of closure to boost your beauty business, as well as how to use platforms Instagram, Facebook and more in a way that is good for your mental health. There will also be a 15-minute Q&A with the audience at the end.

 

Wednesday 20 May – 12pm – Live webinar with Teresa Tarmey – “Masterclass on all things skin rejuvenation"

Top facialist and London salon owner Teresa Tarmey will be talking all things skin rejuvenation, covering the best treatments (microneedling, laser, etc), which skin types would benefit best from these services and common contraindications. She will also explain the best skin rejuvenation services to incorporate into your existing facial protocols and why. There will also be a 15-minute Q&A with the audience at the end. 

 

Thursday 21 May – 2pm – Live webinar with Jack Dunn and Sam Marshall – “Waxing precautions, safety and hygiene post-Covid-19”

As a waxer, safety and hygiene in treatment is of paramount importance but this will be even more crucial when beauty businesses are finally allowed to reopen post-coronavirus. Jack Dunn, The Wax Coach, Perron Rigot brand ambassador and co-founder of Hot Wax London, and Sam Marshall, owner of The Beauty Guru, explain the hygiene and safety standards you should be adhering to in each treatment and how waxing services will need to be adapted when you reopen post-Covid-19 as a precaution for yourself, staff and clients.
