Pennyhill Park and Carbis Bay among Good Spa Guide Awards winners

Pennyhill Park, Carbis Bay and Armathwaite Hall were among the winners of the Good Spa Guide’s 2015 awards.

The UK spa guide announced the winners of its sixth annual awards on November 10 at industry event Spa Life in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Eight national and eight regional awards were given to recognise “the very best of spa in the UK”. The regional awards were voted for by the public, and winners included K Spa at K West, London, for Best London Spa, The Woodland Spa in Lancashire for Best Spa in the North, and The Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire for Best Spa in the Midlands and East.

The Good Spa Guide’s team of secret reviewers, who visited over 100 spas and scored them on everything from services and facilities to cleanliness, decided the winners of the national awards. These included Pennyhill Park in Surrey for Sheer Luxury, Carbis Bay Hotel and Spa in Cornwall for Best Spa for Romance, and Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa in The Lake District for Best Real Results.
