Professional Beauty Awards 2020 postponed to November 2
The Professional Beauty Awards 2020 night has been postponed until Monday, November 2, 2020, due to ongoing changes in the rules surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As awards organisers, we have listened to the feedback of our valued finalists and judges and taken the decision to push the event back to November in order to allow additional time for the judging process once salons and spas reopen after lockdown.
Our priority is the safety of all attendees, and the date change will also ensure that when we do get to celebrate the achievements of the amazing Profesisonal Beauty Awards finalists and winners we can do so in a completely safe and enjoyable environment.
The black-tie evening celebrations will be held at the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane, starting with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal with entertainment, the awards presentation, and an after party until late.
"Words like ‘celebration’ now seem out of sync with reality but by November we will want to celebrate our industry and its return to work, and the return to helping our clients' lives and self esteem," commented Profesisonal Beauty Group managing director Mark Moloney.
The PB Awards are the most prestigious and established in the beauty business, recognising those who make a real difference to the industry and encouraging their development.

Ahead of the ceremony, there will be an afternoon Salon & Spa Connect event, giving finalists and sponsors a chance to discuss business challenges, share solutions and network ahead of the big night.

In case you missed it…
Professional Beauty London has also been postponed to October 11–12 due to the rising cases of coronavirus throughout the UK. It will still take place at ExCel London but will be running alongside our flagship hair exhibition Salon International.
There are new dates for Professional Beauty North 2020 too, now taking place on November 15–16 at EventCity Manchester.
