Professional Beauty Awards 2020 postponed to September 13

The Professional Beauty Awards 2020, which were due to take place on June 28, have been postponed until September 13 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The venue for the glamourous awards ceremony has also changed, now taking place at the stunning Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London.

Our national awards are the most prestigious and established in the beauty business, recognising those who make a real difference to the industry and encouraging their development.

“I’m really glad that we have managed to secure these new dates in the stunning Park Plaza. The Professional Beauty Awards taking place at the beginning of September will shout out to the world that the profession is back and will give us all a springboard for the autumn," said Professional Beauty managing director Mark Moloney.

"Words like ‘celebration’ now seem out of sync with reality but by September we will want to celebrate our industry and its return to work, and the return to helping our clients' lives and self esteem."

The black-tie evening celebrations will still involve a drinks reception, three-course meal with entertainment and an after party until late.

Ahead of the ceremony, there will be an afternoon Salon & Spa Connect event, giving finalists and sponsors a chance to discuss business challenges, share solutions and network ahead of the big night.

This year’s awards has received a record number of entries from spas, salons and individuals across the UK. Check out who has been named a finalist in the Professional Beauty Awards 2020 shortlist.

In case you missed it…

Professional Beauty London has also been postponed to October 11–12 due to the rising cases of coronavirus throughout the UK. It will still take place at ExCel London but will be running alongside our flagship hair exhibition Salon International.

There are new dates for Professional Beauty North 2020 too, now taking place on November 15–16 at EventCity Manchester.
