Four ways to spend your time on day two of Professional Beauty London:
1. Training and Education Programme
With five specialist sessions for lecturers, covering T-Levels, employment, social media and more, those in the education sector can expand their knowledge on subjects they deal with on a daily basis with the Training and Education Programme, with networking opportunities in between sessions.
Lecturers are also invited to attend the Lecturers' Networking Lounge at 1:30pm, providing the chance to connect with other lecturers and network with employers and recruiters to find out what they’re looking for when hiring.
It's the best place to share best practice and discuss key challenges with your peers.
2. College Beauty Journey
New for 2022 is the College Beauty Journey, with lots of exciting freebies and opportunities on offer for students at the beauty show, as exhibitors look to the next generation of beauty professionals.
Follow our student show guide and collect your samples and experiences from the stands marked up on the map. If you complete them all then there might even be a prize at the end.
3. Live Stages and conventions
There’s a range of Live Stages to attend today, including the Nail and Make-up Stage, in association with the FNP and Lan Nguyen-Grealis and supported by the British Beauty Council, where industry experts will share their best tips and tricks, as well as giving advice on training and current trends.
Each session attended is worth one CPD hour, with certificates available to collect from the VTCT stand at the show.
Visitors can also attend the World Spa & Wellness Convention, designed to give delegates even more opportunities to choose the key information they need to grow their spa businesses.
4. Make-up and Nail Competitions
Budding make-up artists can watch fellow students and professionals alike create their looks to compete in the 2022 Make-Up Competition.
Monday’s competition consists of Bridal Make-up and the Creative Influence competition, which is themed “Professional Beauty”.
Aspiring nail techs can also show off their skills by taking part in the Nail Competitions, in partnership with the Federation of Nail Professionals (FNP).
